Maristela Baioni has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Maryland (USA) and a master’s degree in Development Banking from The American University, Washington, DC (USA). She currently holds the position of Assistant Resident Representative for Programme at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in Brazil. At UNDP, Maristela Baioni coordinates a programme portfolio of over 100 projects in several areas of human development, such as health, environment, democratic governance, culture and education. Her areas of expertise are public management, human development, education and citizen security.
