Danielle Evanson

Programme Manager, UNDP Barbados

Ms Evanson first joined the UNDP office in Barbados in May 2007, serving in several project-related capacities in the energy, environment and disaster management thematic areas. In her current role, which she has held since 2014, she manages the portfolios relating to climate and disaster risk, energy and the environment with a focus on improving their holistic integration for more sustainable solutions and strengthening the targeting of the most vulnerable to build resilience in small island developing states.

Ms Evanson holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (Hons) from the University of Southampton, England; and a Master of Science in Natural Resource and Environmental Management (Distinction) from the University of the West Indies, Barbados.
